Any means necessary

Buermann points us to this gem:

Justice Minister Hamon Ramon told army radio Israel would fight Hezbollah with the "same means used by the Americans against Osama bin Laden," the leader of Al-Qaeda.

And comments

In the universe of death threats, this particular one means that the party will go about levelling everything in the country around the supposed target, then huff off to an unrelated country and invade that, just in case said target doesn't quite understand that he is in no way immediately threatened.

True true. I'll add to it: a few years from now, the Israeli prime minister will tell us that Israel is "truly not that concerned" about where Hezbollah is or what they are up to. A few years after that, Mossad will close the unit that is focused on paying attention to what Hezbollah is up to.
