Go read his latest campaign speech...

From my perspective, Edwards...

• Is the only candidate who has made the fight against poverty central to his platform;
  
• Is the the candidate most explicitly admitting that "the system in Washington is rigged and our government is broken";
  
• Has all of Obama's anti-corporate energy and cross-aisle appeal, but not the opportunism (for lack of a better word... I'm not sure what it is exactly that makes me a little cautious about B-rock);
  
• Is reeeeally 'electable'.

To be clear: I think any of the three Dem front-runners would make good presidents, especially compared with the pool of senile jokers the repugs are putting up. As it stands though, Edwards gets my vote in the primary.

UPDATE: Matt points me towards this goody from B-rock. I'm googly-eyed for visions of the Edwards-Obama ticket! (I know, not likely... a guy can dream though.)
